Founders Circle donors make the Tuscan Heritage Foundation’s mission possible.
Your generosity safeguards centuries of cultural knowledge—food, land, craft, and place—while creating living opportunities for learning and exchange.

A gift to the Foundation is both an act of preservation and a personal connection to Tuscany that deepens over time. We are profoundly grateful to those who choose to steward this work alongside us.

Join us for our first annual Founders Dinner on May 2, at the Villa in Tuscany.

Leadership gifts sustain the long-term preservation of Tuscan culture, land, and learning at the villa—making possible the teaching kitchen, orchard restoration, artist and scholar residencies, and the care of this historic place. Leadership supporters are invited into the life of the villa through multi-year recognition and moments of shared stewardship, thoughtfully tailored to each donor’s interests.

Giving typically begins at $50,000. We would be honored to speak with you.

The Tuscan Heritage Foundation is preparing the villa to welcome students, artists, farmers, and cultural learners beginning in 2026. To safely host mission-aligned retreats, the villa is undergoing program-related improvements that support education, accessibility, and shared life.

These are not luxury renovations, but thoughtful investments in safety, learning, and stewardship. The villa is being renewed as a living center of Tuscan culture—where perennial agriculture, artisan craft, culinary traditions, and cultural exchange thrive side by side.

Here, guests are invited to slow down and reconnect: to write, paint, garden, wander the olive terraces, and experience a quality of life that has sustained these hills for centuries. With your support, this historic place becomes a living classroom—one that nurtures creativity, sustainability, and a deep connection to land and heritage.

Volunteer Weeks are part of our hands-on cultural heritage programs.

Participants are expected to work on the property for 20 - 30 hours during their week. Activities include grounds maintenance, gardening, tree planting, stone work, cooking, collaborative arts, or sharing your specific skills with the community and villa. Throughout the week cultural heritage information and activities will also be offered. All retreats have yoga and meditation options in the morning around 7 AM. Alcohol is not provided, menu is Tuscan fair made and shared together. If you have special dietary needs please note there may be a surcharge depending on the extent of preparation. A $700 contribution for cleaning and food is recommended. A $1700 contribution for each additional guest.
Volunteer Weeks may include: Olive grove care and harvest, perennial agriculture projects, artisan and food heritage programs, culinary traditions, and visits to culturally significant sites such as Florence. Because this service directly supports a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, a portion of travel expenses may be tax-deductible where permitted by law. Volunteer time is separate from donor benefit weeks, and these experiences often create some of the deepest connections to the land and our mission.
